Dieser Lederkurs eignet sich ideal für Teilnehmer die bereits etwas Erfahrung in der Verarbeitung mit Leder und der Herstellung von Taschen oder Accessoires haben. Im Idealfall haben Sie bereits unseren Leder Einsteigerkurs oder den Leder Wochenend-Workshop besucht. Voraussetzung um diesen Kurs zu besuchen ist das sie entwerder bereits gut und sicher mit der Nähmaschine nähen können (dies muss nicht unbedingt eine Ledernähmaschine sein) oder bereits relative sicher sind im Hand nähen mit der Zweinadeltechnik oder der Handnähmaschine.

Das Thema dieses Workshops ist eine Lederhandtasche. Damit alle Teilnehmer die Chance haben eine Tasche in zwei Tagen fertig zu stellen, greifen wir auf ein bereits bestehendes Schnittmuster zurück. Kleinere Anpassungen an die individuellen Vorstellungen der Teilnehmer sind natürlich möglich.

Die Teilnehmer können aus 4 verschiedenen Schnittvorlagen auswählen und sich einen Shopper, eine Bucket Bag oder eine von zwei kleineren Handtaschen Modellen mit Schulterriemen fertigen. Es ist auch möglich das ein eigenes fertiges Schnittmuster von den Teilnehmern mitgebracht wird. Das Material ist in diesem Kurs nicht enthalten, sondern kann vor Ort gekauft oder mitgebracht werden.

Die Taschen können mit der Hand und bei erfahrenen Teilnehmern auch mit der Maschine genäht werden. Die Taschen können mit oder ohne Innenfutter und mit Knöpfen oder Reißverschlüssen verarbeitet werden.

In diesem Kurs werden folgende Fertigkeiten vermittelt:

Fertigung einer Lederhandtasche mit Henkel oder Schulterriemen

Verständnis von Schnittvorlagen für die Lederverarbeitung

Unterscheiden von verschiedenen Lederqualitäten und die richtige Lederauswahl für das zu fertigende Produkt

Lederwerkzeuge und deren Anwendung

Leder vorbereiten für die Verarbeitung

Anbringen von Schnallen, Reißverschlüssen und Knöpfen

Fertigen und einnähen von Innenfutter

Fertigung von Innentaschen

Je nach Bedarf Umgang mit der Ledernähmaschine

Stornobedingungen:

Eine schriftliche Stornierung des Kurses wird nur bis 21 Tage vor Beginn akzeptiert. Ab 20 Tage bis Kursbeginn wird die Hälfte des Kursbeitrags erstattet (Sie können uns aber auch eine Ersatzperson nennen). Bei zu geringer Teilnehmerzahl kann ein Workshop/Kurs ausfallen und sie bekommen den Betrag zurück erstattet.

  This leather course is ideal for participants who already have some experience in leather work and the manufacture of bags or accessories. Ideally you have already visited our leather beginner’s course or the leather weekend workshop. For attending this course you should already be able to sew with the sewing machine (this does not necessarily have to be a leather sewing machine) or you are already relatively safe in the hand sewing with the two-needle technique or the hand sewing machine.

The theme of this workshop is a leather handbag. To ensure that all participants have the chance to finish a bag in two days, we will work with existing patterns. Smaller adjustments to the individual ideas of the participants are, of course, possible.

The participants can select from 4 different patterns and make a shopper, a bucket bag or one of two smaller handbag models with shoulder strap. It is also possible that the participants bring their own finished pattern. The material is not included in this course, but can be bought in our studio or you bring your own Material.

The bags can be sewn by hand and by experienced participants also with the machine. The bags can be made with or without inner lining and with buttons or zippers.

This course teaches the following skills:

Production of a leather handbag with handle or shoulder strap
Understanding of cutting patterns for leather processing
Different leather qualities and the right choice of leather for the product to be manufactured
Leather tools and their application
Prepare leather for processing
Attaching buckles, zips and buttons
Finishing and sewing of inner lining
Production of inner pockets
using a leather sewing machine

Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 6pm
We take one hour lunch break.

Material costs are not included in the course fee. The material can be purchased from us in the studio or you can bring your own leather.

Participation:
You confirm your participation with the booking / payment of the course fee.

Cancellation policy:
A written cancellation of the course is only accepted until 21 days before the start. From 20 days to the beginning of the course half of the course fee will be refunded (but you can also call us a substitute). If the number of participants is too small, a workshop / course may be canceled and you will be refunded the amount.
